Jennifer Carreón is a District 1 product, graduating from PS34, and is a proud mom of two children. Most recently, Jennifer was Community Superintendent of District 27 from 2018-2022, overseeing 50 schools and launching numerous district-wide initiatives. Jennifer has also held roles as Director for Teaching and Learning at Queens South Borough Office, Director of New Principal Support at the Office of Leadership and was an award-winning Principal at PS/IS 178Q from 2008-2016. As the Executive Director for District 1, Jennifer will work alongside the Superintendent and oversee the Instructional Team. Jennifer is excited to work in the district where she grew up.
