Madison Pisano brings extensive teaching experience, with a focus on elementary education, having taught in various schools across New Jersey, a NYC Charter School, and most recently at a District 1 school, where she served as a districtwide lab site teacher, leading District 1 educators in piloting the NYC Reads initiative and participating in an active teacher advisory, focusing on scaling and implementing the shared literacy curriculum. Madison posseses a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Special Education and Anthropology, as well as a master’s degree in School Building and District Leadership. Madison is excited to collaborate with district leaders, educators, and the broader community to make a meaningful impact within District 1.
